Why Clients Love Me
Very beginner friendly
Optimistic and encouraging style of teaching
Sets realistic and personal goals for clients
Patient and great at modifying exercises
I know what it’s like to dread going to the gym
My whole goal when I started studying to become a personal trainer and group fitness instructor was to help others who may also feel anxiety going to the gym or who have no idea where to start with an exercise program.
I’ve been there and it was hard. I felt like everyone was judging me (they weren’t) and it would be embarrassing (it wasn’t).
I have worked with people of all fitness levels and personal goals and understand that each person’s journey is unique. But one thing that unites all clients I’ve worked with is that you CAN do it and you are NOT weak.
I’m a Big Geek
If you couldn’t tell yet, I’m a little quirky. A lot of my style comes from my love of comics, Japanese animation and sewing costumes. I’m a craft packrat and can’t stop collecting fabrics.
Totally Nonathletic
Yeah, it’s not a joke. I was a bench warmer in grade school and didn’t touch gym equipment until I was in college. I still can’t throw a baseball straight, but I know dang well how to perfect a bicep curl or squat. Weird how things change.
But Very Persistant
I don’t give up when I’ve set my mind to it, and I refuse to give up on my clients. When someone is having a bad day, I’ll be the ray of sunshine that’ll force you out of bed and push through.
Being Healthy is HARD
Take it from me, I can’t say no to anything sweet. Or pizza. Or most food. And yes I totally ate that donut in the photo after we were done taking pictures.
Not to mention, 2020 and COVID has been a real challenge for EVERYONE, myself included. It’s no surprise we’re all struggling to fit into our stretchy pant! Sometimes, just having an accountability buddy can give you the encouragement to make wiser decisions and stick to your goals.
I can help you take it one day at a time, one small change at a time.
